7. Processed Meats
Even if you have healthy kidneys, doctors do not recommend eating an excess of processed meats. Because of the high amount of preservatives used on them, they cause damage to your body. Processed meats also have higher salt content that industries use to flavor them.
It is this salt which makes processed meats like sausages, pepperoni, bacon, etc. harmful for the kidneys. It may also be necessary to avoid these processed meats if you have been told by your doctor to reduce your daily protein intake. This is because your kidneys may find it hard to break down the stubborn protein molecules.
